Testimony of how Jesus delivered me from bondage that has enslaved my cigarettes for 25 years. MY heavy smoker who spends 2-3 packs a day. Deliverance from cigarettes that I experienced occurred on January 22, 1985. At that time I have just finished the Bible from the Rev. Mr. JE Awondatu Alwel Tanujaya family home. I've followed this lesson several times, even this because my wife's encouragement. You need to know that my Catholic background, so I do not burden to release the habit, because according to Catholic teaching smoking is not prohibited, so I do not feel wrong with smoking. But when I attended a prayer fellowship (PD), which started in 1983 I visited mid frank I do not smoke in front of the brothers as well as to appreciate those who do not smoke, also to cover up so they do not know that I am a smoker, hypocritical huh?
OFTEN I hear testimonies of people quit smoking, but my heart was not moved because the witness of Christians are not Catholic. Until I thought it only fair because he was not smoking is prohibited pastor, priest while I was never banned me. Back to events that I experienced on January 22, 1985. But before I go, there is a reprimand in my heart and now I just understand that it is the Holy Spirit who has been admonished me, saying, `Are not you just finished praying for you released from a cigarette, now try not to smoke.` So wise God if rebuked, his voice so gentle, so that makes me still in tears when I remember love me. I undo what I mean and told his cigarette: "Hi cigarettes from now you become my enemy."
Arriving at home I take a cigarette fixed because I have just bought and exploited the new 2 sticks, that is the last before I follow the Bible lesson. And it is the last cigarette until now and forever. I put the cigarette on the table, and each time I want her I said to myself, `Hey you smoking is a tool the devil and have become my enemy, from now until forever.
The next day, as my habit every morning I wake up to the back and then I can do without a puff cigarette, I realized that God had delivered me from cigarettes that binds me 25 years! I immediately tell my wife who greets with "Praise the Lord!"
TRULY miraculous if God works. From then until now and forever I do not smoke or sehisap sebatangpun else. I also do not require replacement snack or candy cigarettes. Strangely since then I hate to cigarette smoke and if there are people avoid them because I could not stand the smell of cigarette smoke. To the brethren who believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior where they are, I urge you to relatives who still smoke beg God to lift the smoking habit that binds you all this time, because God does not want His children to smoke and certainly will pass your prayer requests. In the Bible there is no verse that says: "No Smoking", but this should not be used excuse that you can smoke. History shows that in biblical times have been prepared or at the time of Jesus Christ was still in this world, tobacco has not been found and in the know.

c. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If there are people who destroy the temple of God, God will destroy him. Because the temple is holy, and ye are the temple of God. "With the smoking man destroy his body is slowly but surely. Medical science has explored and reported that smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer, bronchitis and other diseases. If tobacco already existed at the time of Jesus, I believe Jesus would prohibit smoking. If the physician already banned let alone the world's only Jesus that we know as a physician on top of all physicians, would forbid his people to smoke.
d. Matthew 16:9 "Tell Me I will give the key of the Kingdom of Heaven. What are you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven, and what you remove in the world will be released in heaven. "The verse is not only to untangle cigarettes but also other bonds such as alcohol, narcotic drugs, marijuana, etc. bind other negatively.

I fully realize that I do not have any way to prohibit smoking brother. I also do not want to quit smoking if you are told it is human. Is she a wife, friend, or doctor though. I just called for the brothers to live the verse and ask the Holy Spirit to explain. I especially call on the servant of God who are still bound by the smoking habit to immediately release the handcuff knot and do not spend money received from God through His people to buy cigarettes for the enjoyment of meat that damage his own health. There are people taking the law "excess" which any excess is not good, as well as with cigarettes. But for God's law is not applicable. Sin is still sin and stain permanent stains. Unable to say if a little is okay.
For myself since God delivered me from cigarettes, apparently God also delivered me from my bad habits that I used to do before God touched me. I am fully aware that all is not as strong and my greatness, but because my wife's prayers that were offered day and night for my personal safety has been heard by God.
Surely God's hand is not long enough to save him and hearing no less keen to hear. (Isaiah 55: 1)
My testimony I have ever witnessed in several churches and prayer meetings, but I still continue to burden to make the testimony in writing, so that more people know that the Lord Jesus Christ can do anything and certainly will grant our prayers that we prayed when we pleaded earnestly heartfelt and sincere motivation. So my testimony, may be a blessing to the brothers who read it. Halleluyah Praise the Lord.
